OH!CON date

Main convention: 11am to 5pm, Saturday 29 October 2022 with some associated events and activities leading up to this.

There'll be four venues:

  • Town Hall (main venue)
  • An Lanntair (drum room for talks)
  • The Space @ Stornoway Library (workshops)
  • The Bridge Centre (Nerf sessions)

Planned Activities

Leading up to OH!CON

  • Cult movie screening, "The Earth Dies Sceraming", subject to licence. Date TBC
  • Quiz (Friday 28 Oct, evening) - Calum busy compiling questions.
  • Cosplay costume workshops (weeks leading up to OH!CON)
  • Magic Torch Comics, schools tour culminating in the production of a comic, The Superheroes of the Hebrides

  • Green screen photography (Sradag Creative confirmed)
  • Photography set (for taking selfies)
  • Cosplay competition  x2 (0-15, 15+) 
  • VR gaming (Oculus/PS4)
  • Star Trek table
  • Artist alley/gallery (local artists displaying comic work)

  • Charity auction/raffle (but will need suitable items to auction)
