Meeting notes (15 September)

Volunteering meeting went well but we're still looking for more people. If anyone knows anyone who would like to help on the day, ask them to get in touch (there's a page for volunteers on the website if they want to read about it).
We asked Jason Quinn to be MC and to talk at OH!CON and he agreed.
There will be a cosplay ER table in the Town Hall for emergency costume repairs on the day.
We're going to limit the cosplay entries to a maximum of 50 per masquerade (to ensure that they can run in the time available).
We're considering adding a handful of short informal fan talks to the programme (OH!CONversations) if there is interest. These could be about any topic ("what tv show or film would you reboot/remake?", "why Game of Thrones is so good", "Marvel films World Cup", "how to collect comics" for example) and would last 15-30 minutes. If anyone is keen, or knows someone who'd be keen, to run one of these, let us know.
Programme and tickets will be launched Saturday 1st October.
There will be an advert for OH!CON in the October edition of Events.
