Meeting notes (4 August)

  • We took photos for the first press release and the press release has been sent out. It was picked up by P&J, BBC news website and welovestornoway.com. Do let us know if you’ve seen it elsewhere.

  • Discussed which additional guests to invite – voted for Etienne Kubwabo and Rik Carranza. Etienne has confirmed. Waiting to hear back from Rik.
  • Charities to be supported were nominated; WISCK, Neuro Hebrides and Autism Hebrides. Kathleen will contact them to check that they are happy with this!
  • All venues have been booked for Saturday 29 October 
  • Pursuit Hebrides booked to run three 60-minute Nerf tournaments at the Bridge Centre.
  • DC Thomson have confirmed their archivist David Powell will do a talk on The Beano
  • The website has been updated to include preliminary details of the event. We’ve also added OH!CON on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (thanks to Heather and Kathleen!
