Sci-fi, fantasy, comics, games and all that stuff
OH!CON 2026
OH!CON 2026 was held in An Lanntair and Stornoway Town Hall on Saturday 3 October 2026.
What went on
As tradition dictates, we started on Friday with The Big OH!CON Quiz. The evening raised over £200 for charity.
Doors opened at 10am on Saturday. We kicked off the day with a panel talk on video games, a demonstration of making foam costumes, and a ninja drawing workshop. Throughout the day we held a further 7 talks and 10 workshops covering topics as diverse as horror writing, animation, stuntwork, Red Dwarf, and funding and self-publishing comics—see the programme (PDF) for details!
The two cosplay masquerades attracted loads of entries, and once again we were amazed by the quality and imagination on display.
Thanks to all our guests and our volunteers who made this possible. And thanks to you for coming!
Thanks to our photography team, Gonzo, Martin, and Ralph for capturing the day!
